Gary D. Curtis
Gary has 29 years of experience in the medical device market. He spent 22 years at U.S. Surgical/Tyco Healthcare where he last served as Vice President of Sales Operations and Vice President of Distribution Sales. Most recently, Gary served three years as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Accellent, the largest single provider of outsourcing capabilities to the medical device industry. Gary holds a bachelor of science degree in Marketing from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois.

Joe Stupecky
Joe has more than 40 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design, operations and administration. Prior to founding Interface Associates in 1995, Joe founded Bicore Monitoring Systems in 1989, which he sold to Bear Medical in 1995. Previous to Bicore, Joe founded Alpha Technologies, a manufacturer of metabolic testing systems that was acquired by Beckman Instruments in 1985. Preceding this, he held various engineering and management positions. Joe holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is named as inventor on numerous patents.

J. Matthew Mackowski
Matt is Chairman and Managing Director of Telegraph Hill Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm that specializes in growth companies within the medical device, life science and healthcare sectors. He has been a healthcare-focused venture capital investor since 1980. Matt received a BA from Duke University and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Jeanette M. Welsh, J.D.
Jeanette is a Partner at Telegraph Hill Partners and has spent over 20 years in the areas of private equity, mergers & acquisitions, securities law and administration. Prior to joining THP, Jeanette worked at Three Cities Research, a private equity firm in New York focused on middle market companies. Prior to joining Three Cities Research, Jeanette practiced law at Epstein, Becker & Green P.C. in New York where she focused on corporate and securities law. Before commencing her legal career, Jeanette was part of the M&A department of Société Générale Securities Corporation. Jeanette has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter College, City University of New York and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.

Dave Chonette
In addition to serving on the Board of Interface since 2008, Mr Chonette is currently a board member for PneumRx and NeoMedix. Mr. Chonette has been an Advisor to Versant Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in companies in the medical devices, healthcare services, bio-pharmaceuticals and eHealth areas. Prior to Versant Ventures, Mr. Chonette was a general partner of Brentwood Venture Capital, which he joined in 1986. Prior to entering the venture capital field, Dave held technical positions in the aerospace industry until 1967, when he joined American Hospital Supply Corporation. As president of the Edwards Division (now Edwards Lifesciences Corporation), he grew the company from $10 million in revenues to more than $200 million. He was also a group vice president, responsible for several medical device and pharmaceutical divisions totaling $350 million in revenue.

Ronald Dieck
Ronald Dieck is a founder of Tenaxis Medical, PneumRx, Spinal Concepts, and was the founder, President, and CEO of Micro Interventional Systems. He was also a founder and Managing Director of Magic Venture Capital, LLC. He has held executive positions at American Hospital Supply, Baxter Healthcare, Dow Corning Wright, and American Medical Electronics. In addition to Interface, Mr. Dieck has served on the Board of numerous companies including Spinal Concepts, Vector Medical, Dynamic Spine, PneumRx, and Tenaxis Medical. He holds a BA in Chemistry from Ripon College and a PhD in Chemistry from Arizona State University and is the inventor of over 50 US patents and author of over 40 technical papers.
