Interface is growing to meet customer needs. A facility expansion plan is now underway that includes a new extruded tubing clean room, an additional balloon production clean room and a recently completed expansion of the equipment assembly operation.

The new extruded tubing clean room includes the addition of a micro-extruder which will increase production capacity and reduce lead times. The advancements achieved in our extruded balloon tubing process over the last four years have resulted in significant improvements in balloon production yields in our own manufacturing area, as well as for our customers that have converted to Interface extruded tubing.

The construction of an additional balloon production clean room has begun in response to increased customer demand and will increase balloon production capacity and reduce manufacturing lead times.

Interface Catheter Solutions has extensive experience in producing medical balloons to client specifications for a variety of clinical applications, either on a prototype or contract manufacturing basis. Interface has now expanded its capabilities to produce balloons with lengths up to 320 mm.

These longer balloons are produced with the high-quality standards for which Interface is known, including sharp, well-defined cone transitions, no warping or banana shaping, and even wall thickness throughout the body.
