Tubing Welding Machine - Model TBW-500
The TBW-500 Tubing Welding Machine is a compact, bench top system that is easy to use and cost effective for welding a wide range of tubing sizes and materials. It is designed to weld similar polymer components such as inner lumen to distal shaft or balloon distal and proximal necks to the catheter shaft. The TBW-500 provides a strong weld with a low profile and is easy to use while producing optimal results, such as speed, accuracy and performance.

The TBW-500 programmable touch screen configures jaw set point temperature, dwell time, air cool time, and single or double weld. It is programmable in either Fahrenheit or Celsius and provides a user configurable lockout password. The catheter is placed in one of the welding jaw grooves after setting program parameters. Activate a heat shield to close around the catheter through the touch screen, foot pedal or press button start. The hot weld jaws grip the tubing and heat it to its fusing temperature resulting in a strong homogeneous weld joint.
