Model GPL-501
The Gas Pressure Leak Tester is a compact, bench-top system designed to perform non-destructive testing and leak testing of bonded or welded catheter assemblies, elastomer tubing, fittings and valve assemblies.
Features
- Storeable test profiles
- Simple test set-up and operation
- Immediate pass/fail test results viewable on touch screen along with an audible leak detection alarm
- Printout of test results
- Compact and lightweight
- ± 0.5% of full scale pressure accuracy
- Output data includes date, time, test results, lot and part numbers
- Optional accessories include: balloon compliance fixture, compact thermal printer and rollaway catheter stand
Description
The Interface GPL-501 is used for nondestructive leak testing of catheter components using nitrogen gas which is inert so there is no residue, water spots or water droplets on catheter components, making it ideal for testing of finished devices.
The system can be programmed to perform:
- Vacuum leak test
- Pressure leak test
Programming, along with recall and storage, is performed through menu-driven options on the front panel. Parameters include:
- Vacuum test
- Test pressure
- Ramp rate
- Hold time
- Test time
- Maximum leak rate
The adjustable test parameters make it easy to perform precise tests for each catheter device component.
